I've always been a great student, acing my AP Chem and Calc classes, and having a pretty easy grasp of concepts which a lot of students find difficult. However, I do have a lot of issues with handling stress and a lot of obligations at once, which makes me nervous for college classes.

In High School I would have an exam every 1-2 months, while in college there is one every 3 or so weeks. I'm afraid of things piling up on me, or feeling overwhelmed. I'm taking 13 credits this fall to ease my way in to college (Engl 131, Math 125, seminar and a fig), may become a research assistant (yay!), and am looking to join a club.

I'm curious if you guys have any tips or experiences in keeping the workload manageable while at the UW. I've heard that Math 12x is extremely hard- and for me, it's not the concepts that I expect to be hard, it's the time-management and workload. I want to be prepared so I can do the best I can.
