Hi guys! I’ve been trying to read more since I lack in the vocabulary department and the reading comprehension department and anything related to literature 
I usually get absorbed into fiction reading and popular novels but I can never focus when I’m reading nonfiction. This is especially painful during the school year when I am trying to study. Does anybody have any strategies that could help me out?

Pretend to Be extremely enthusiastic. It’s really mind over matter. If you act like whatever your reading is the most engaging piece you read in your entire life, it will help a lot. Fake it till you make it.
You could always try 20 minutes of full-on reading followed by 5 minutes of resting. The resting prior can give you time to patiently go over what you just read and to mull over the words.
