It’s all about grades and SAT. I just got in and I don’t have that great extracurriculars or volunteer or anything. Plus they only let you put 5 or 6 extracurriculars/volunteering activites on the application. If you really really want to get in focus on school; they rely heavily on your gpa. You need at least a 3.80 unweighted and 2000 on the SAT.

Like what others said, it’s all grades and SATs. You have a lot of time, even if you screwed up freshman year, like I did. My advice is take science and math courses and do well in them. Get 700 or above on math+ CR SATs (nobody really cares about the writing section) and SAT IIs.

Do you have to take SAT IIs to get in?

i didn’t send my sat IIs when i applied and i got in. send them in if you want.

Yeah what the other posters said. They heavily weigh your decision on GPA, so make sure you work hard in your classes. Try as many weighted classes as possible, like Honors and AP. Also, make sure you get a good SAT/ACT score. I don’t think they really take the SAT2’s too much in consideration. I only had 2 major EC’s and still got in.

Of course, reading the BIG thread on the school should explain it all, but in short check out

(but if you don’t have the grades and SAT’s not much else matters)

if you are near the 25% or below, good luck, as you will need it.

Just like many people, I believe it is the perfect college for me. I really want to get into the pharmacy program there. Can someone who got accepted please tell me what they did for extracurriculars, and other important stuff? I am really worried about my extracurriculars.

I am very religious so i voluntteer at my temple a lot
Umm and at school i don’t do that much maybe a few clubs here and there like key club( hardlygo) math league, chem league, fbla

r the Extra curriculars that important i am really stressed about this

Like everyone said, don’t worry about extracurriculars. I listed some volunteering and school clubs, but I doubt they even looked at it. You have a few, that’s good enough. I would just really, really focus on getting at least a 2000+ SAT (2100 if you really want to be safe) and making sure you have a good GPA.
