Tips on writing "why do you want come to our college" essay questions

So many universities ask one variation or another on why do you want to apply to their university and the colleges and programs that you chose. They usually also add in their questions about listing unique characteristics of the college that you're applying to, and how that would affect your decision to attend, and ultimately your future. Where I'm keep on getting stuck is that I can't really think of anything "unique" to put on these types of essays. I write down some general praise, and literally copied them on all of my college essays asking this type of question, but I know this won't get me far if I actually submit them. Any advice on how to actually write about a particular college's specific characteristics? Thanks!

If you already have a specific major in mind, think about how going to a particular college will help you in that area. Do they have certain programs that are specifically appealing to you?
Likewise, if you plan on applying undeclared, you could talk about how the options at the school are appealing to you and would allow you to go in any direction you think you might be interested in.
You can also try to connect to the school on a more personal level by talking about the location and how it is important to you, or any other aspect that you think is important.
Basically, think about why you chose that school. Why is it even on your list? Then tell them those reasons.
If you can tell us specifically what schools you are writing this essay for and your general interests in your college experience, that would help me come up with more specific reasons for you to talk about in each essay if you want further help.

Hope I helped! could you help me back?
