SAT is perfectly fine for Ivy, GPA is perfect. EC are good but try to get leadership positions next year. Nice awards.
You will definitely get into at least 1 ivy. It comes down to your essays. If Penn is your #1 then go on a visit and apply ED. You should have a great chance to get in unless you are applying to Wharton. IF Stern is #1 you should get in ED or EDII, but can you afford it?

lacoste i’d love to but im pretty new to cc and unfamiliar with what colleges want. sorry

Leadership positions are your best bet. Ivies are so unpredictable that there’s nothing you can really do to secure a spot. Make sure to take SAT II’s in maths and sciences. AmbiD77 is right, find something that you have that no one else applying would. A weird hobby, a talent, any of these would work. What do you really enjoy? Another great bit of advice is to stay you. A lot of times during the admissions process, you begin to mold yourself after what you think the college wants. This is not the way to go! Colleges want a diverse student body and they can’t really do this if everyone is trying to be one particular way. Good luck, you have a superb foundation and are sure to get in to at least a few of the universities on your wish list!

RESEARCH! You’re a female that is going into STEM, which makes you attractive to colleges, but to really make yourself stand out, do some research. Also, make sure the research is meaningful to you. For example, my grandfather died from lung cancer, which could have been prevented had they caught the cancer before it metastatisized. After experiencing his death, I did some research and discovered that lung cancer has the highest mortality rate of all the cancers, and it turns out that my own state has the highest death rate from lung cancer. For these reasons, I have spent my summer doing research and trying to formulate a cheaper and more reliable method of diagnosing patients with lung cancer at earlier stages so that they have a higher chance of survival. Good luck with everything!

Hi - as others before me stated, your GPA and standardized test scores are fine for Ivies. This is not what will keep you out/get you in.

The anti-asian hook is something that you plainly need to overcome. The clubs and interests presented above portray you as fairly typical Asian. Do you have any interesting hobbies or jobs that you can talk about?

Need something more than the standard Asian math/science whiz to get the Ivy AdCom’s attention.

How involved are you in debate?

no weird hobby unfortunately, but I’m a math fanatic who enjoys doing geometry proofs for hours.

ambiD77- not very, although I’ll probably get captain or co-captain senior year. my school doesn’t focus very much on debate, so there’s only a debate sponsor who doesn’t coach at all.

@Lacoste - did you really say this?

@CHD2013 OP awards list is outstanding, OP just needs a little bit leadership in EC
How do you quote someone

You don’t really know that your quote is true. Realistically, the most you could say is that you think there’s a good chance they will get into at least 1 ivy, and I’m not sure that I could agree with that without more info.

To quote someone type the following less the x’s:
[Quotexx]
the quote
[/Quotexx]

@CHD2013‌ thanks
