Tips to landing a entry engineering job?

<p>I plan on graduating this December so I just wanted to create a post to help out myself & others: so share your ideas & Thanks! </p>

<p>Be sure to develop a detailed CV/Resume with all relevant experiences (Work, Extra Curricular). Spell out your contributions and specific engineering interests. </p>

<p>Here’s a tip I wish I knew when I was interviewing for entry level jobs: Be able to articulate very clearly how you will add value to their business. </p>

<p>Ultimately, a business makes a BIG investment when taking on a new hire because we often don’t contribute back more than we are paid until 6 months to 2 years in. </p>

<p>For example: During an interview, explicitly mention that you understand that adding value to a business is your penultimate goal and this is how you will do it: X Y and Z.</p>
