Tips when buying a printer

I just purchased my printer for my PC (which I have not purchased yet). I bought an HP 8050 from Circuity City for $125 plus the USB cable ($25).

Heads up: The price in the store was MORE than the price on Circuit City's own website but the store matched it (for both the printer and the USB cable).

The printer is a much higher quality than the one UVA is selling for $200+.

Also, my mom bought a $40 off purchase of $199 coupon from ebay for $4 (including shipping via email) which Circuit City gladly accepted. With the printer, cable and ink cartridges, my total was enough to get the $40 off my entire purchase.

Just thought I would share some money savings tips!

Yeah it's always helpful to look out for good deals like this. These kinds of places are always having sales and some sites like techbargains.com collect and manage sale dates, coupons, etc. The number 1 tip though- don't buy anything from uva.
