Hello, I am currently a freshman at the University of South in Tampa and I am majoring in Biomedical Sciences right now. I’ve fully realized that I’m not passionate about anything involving medicine anymore so I will be transitioning to Computer Science because I’ve always had a passion for technology and figuring things out. Any tips for a beginning Computer Science major with minimal coding experience?! Please help!
Take the first class and see if you like it before committing. A “passion for technology” is very nebulous, and is not what CS is. Figuring things out, yes, but perhaps not in the sense you mean. Either way, reevaluate after the intro CS class.
