^ School starts 8 AM. I wake up at 6:30 AM and I leave home at 7:15 AM ( So I have 45 minutes which consists of 10 minutes of making myself get up from bed, 10 minutes of breakfast, 10 minutes of getting ready, and 15 minutes of misc).

Then a 45 minute travel through the subway system.

I leave school at 3:37 PM. But that’s not the real time I actually leave. After EC’s like Orchestra (far away from my school), clubs, and volunteering I come home at like 5-6 PM.

Well, it’s nice in the more popular areas. But unfortunately, my school is near the border between the popular area and the bad area. However, fortunately my school is close to the good parts of the city.

However, I do have more freedom. But it isn’t very safe to be out late at night. So I come home fast or at least I try to.

Orchestra is the only day where I come home late (monday) because I have to travel far (at around 6 or 6:30).

I wake up 6:30 everyday to get to school. I have 5 APs, and I already have a B in one of my AP courses.

I really want all As this year. Dealing with 5 APs is like walking a cliff. You know that sinking feeling in your stomach? That’s what I’m dealing with. So far, I haven’t had any major assignments, but I just don’t feel right without 8 hours of work or something. I keep wondering - “did I forget something?” Did the teacher assign more homework that I missed? Plus, that B in that one AP class is just killing me. I’m going to get an ulcer because of that …

And yes, I’m exhausted, just like you. I’m dead tired everyday I get back. My SAT prep has been put on hiatus ever since school started, and I don’t think I have time for any SAT prep.

I can’t stand being ranked 13th in class last year (because really, all of tose people who ranked first - THEY took the EASIEST classes. While I took hard ones and got a B)

Anyway, you’ll have a shot at valedictorian in college. Just retake all your AP courses in college. Easy As :p.

My AP Calc teacher knows several students who retook Calc in college for easy As. Not one of his students that retook Calc received anything less than an A :).

And my, it’s 10:30 here! Time to go to sleep …

your plan is kind of flawed in regards to studying for AP right now…the AP tests are in May. You still have to take the class to learn things…it best to go with the flow of the AP class and then start self studying along the way…its too soon right now. go hardcore in March
