I agree...people need to take time for themselves and stop getting their hw done the hour they get.

The best papers I've ever written were ones that I sat on up until 3-4 hours before they were due. I think taking time to do other things and think about other things allows our brains to function much more efficiently. That said, there are assignments where it is impossible to do better by procrastinating... like math, or accounting problems.

Wow, this thread is actually lifting my spirits a little!!!

I procrastinate like no other.
This year, I applied for journalism. In early February (waaaaaay before this years app was out), I took last years app and pored over the questions, dissecting every possible connotation or expectation of the interviewers and selectors. I even bought the Idiot's Guide to Interviews. I eventually made it to the interview, but I was a basketcase at the interview, and I was so nervous, that they rejected me. xx. And even worse, this wasn't even a spur of the moment thing. I had been wanting to make the journalism staff for the longest time (at least since middle school). And people who had just suddenly woken up one morning and said, "Hey! I want to apply for journalism!" got in. xx.

I have a 2340 and a 3.4 unweighted.

I went a whole year without opening my Spanish 3 book outside of class in freshman year.(still got an A 2nd semester though, rofl)

I have an 800 2c and 780 bio but I hate math and science(especially). Haven't got an A in either subject since junior high.

I have a younger cousin who skipped a grade but will be valedictorian of my grade. And she has 3 800 SAT2s and 2300 SAT.
