<p>The letter didn't say. It was from the Dean of Tisch congratulating me on my acceptance and inviting me to some admitted students day at NYU. It said I would be getting my official acceptance later on in the month. </p>
<p>Also, to answer your question - I applied for Cinema Studies.</p>

<p>Does anyone know when Tisch's admitted students event is taking place? Is it for Tisch in general, or separated by majors? I'm ED so I don't get invited, but I might swing by haha</p>
<p>cool, i didn't know there was such an event. I thought welcome week was all we had :)</p>
<p>It's mostly to sway regular decision kids to pick NYU which is why they don't notify ED kids since we're already going anyway, lol.</p>

<p>bimachris, the invitation I got had the date of April 4th in Washington Square. We (regulars) have to RSVP by March 30th. It's at 9AM.</p>
<p>I just got accepted into Tisch today too for Film & Television. I've been staring at my letter with a "How in the **** did I even get in?" look on my face. I just seriously can't believe that a person with my stats even got in. I was expecting a rejection. I find it hilarious that I haven't heard a single word from my safeties, but I've already heard from one of the harder schools to get into. What a crazy world... I'm just glad that I finally and officially got in somewhere! Good luck to fellow applicants :)</p>

Starde, I understand completely. NYU can never be a safety school for anyone when they're applying to Tisch.</p>
<p>Without sounding creepy i was wondering those of you who have gotten tisch acceptance letters what does your last name start with? I talked to admissions and she thought they were possibly sending out invites alphabetically.. So im trying to see if this is accurate . thanks!</p>

<p>My daughter here in Colorado received her admission letter on Saturday, for Tisch Drama. Her last name begins with D. Good luck to all of you. I know the waiting is tough!</p>
