<p>Hey! I just saw the Gallatin thread and figured I'd make one for us Tischies who got into the drama program. So....wooohooo!!</p>
<p>Anyways, I posted a question about studio assignments on the NYU forum and they said that we should be hearing from them soon via e-mail with our studio placements. So, which studios are you all hoping for?</p>
<p>I'm hoping for CAP21 as first choice, Playwrights Horizons as second choice, and then either Stella Adler, Meisner Extension or ETW. I'm not really fond of Atlantic or Strasberg for some reason, well Strasberg I kinda know, I don't think the technique they teach is right for me. But any of those other ones I think I'd be happy with. I just hope I get either my first or second choice!!!</p>
<p>So yeah, it seems as though Studio Placements have been e-mailed already because I recieved mine today.</p>

<p>Not my first choice, as I was kind of hoping for CAP21, but I am very, very happy with the choice they've made for me. After CAP21, out of the straight acting studios Meisner was my absolute top choice. I am really excited to get started, I think it'll be a challenge but that's what I'm hoping for.</p>

<p>CAP21! i would have been so thrilled with strasberg because it looks absolutely incredible but i am beyond happy about cap! congrats to you!!</p>
<p>Experimental for moi :) I don't really know too much about it; I was hoping for Strasgberg or for Stella Adler, but I've heard good things about Experimental, as well. I'm so thrilled, I can't even tell you.</p>
<p>I was accepted into Atlantic, which was my first choice. So excited!</p>
