Tisch Film Portfolio

What would you include in a usual Tisch Film Portfolio? Could you include 100+ page screenplays? I have 2 that has taken a long long time to accomplish, however I have 2 short films as well and some great photographs too.

Please comment

Whoa, uh, don't they say maximum ten minutes? There's a page on NYU's website that tells you the requirements, it's something like a resume of your work, a film you worked on (not more than ten minutes) and a (i think maximum four page) dramatic acct of an event in your life. I could be wrong though, I'd double check...

Yeah, you can't send in 100 pages... I believe 6 of short story or script or whatever is the max... or maybe it is 8.

OR you can send in a short film (less than 10 mins)

OR you can send in some photos (less than 10 i think?)

OR...

just look on the site! its all there, I promise... I cant remember it all!

Here's the link

when they say storyboards/portfolios, can i send computer animated images? like images made from a 3d software program?

Thanks

I think by storyboard, they mean when you're in the pre-production stages of your film and you sketch out each scene and how you want the camera angles and such... so if that's what you mean by computer animated images, then sure... I'd call the admissions office, they can probably answer your questions about what they do and dont accept.

sweet if they allowed that, that would be great
