<p>Well my son was assigned Experimental. </p>
<p>I’m glad that he had decided he wasn’t going prior to this assignment. He is so a completely opposite of an experimental student. I think he would have really been disappointed if he was considering attending and then was assigned this studio.</p>
<p>That’s too bad, kc. ETW is a fabulous studio and is filled with intelligent and creative students. Many of the brightest, and most successful, Tisch grads I know were students at ETW. It is a challenging and multi-faceted studio experience for students who truly are interested in being artists.</p>
<p>@alwaysmom…nothing bad about it. He just stated that he wouldn’t have been happy with that assignment and was glad he had already decided that he wasn’t going to attend.</p>
<p>I never said it didn’t include talented artists just that my son felt it wouldn’t have been a fit for him. He is familiar with most of the current studios and some of the students in them; my dd is a graduating senior at Tisch so his opinion for him was well formed.</p>
<p>EasternActress, I see from another thread that you are from Turkey. My D says there was a Turkish actress at her audition! Did you audition in Atlanta? In any case, congratulations about Tisch and the Adler assignment.</p>
<p>kcdunlap, that’s funny. My daughter was hoping for ETW and got Strasberg. Too bad they can’t trade. ;)</p>
