Hi all,
I was looking at the class recommendations on the new student gateway, and in the GE course options, under the Recommended Courses for Elective Credit, it lists all the elective classes I can take.
But I'm confused now, does "Elective Class" mean the "Disciplinary Breadth courses"??
Since I'm a psychology major, so I shouldn't be able to take any social science classes for elective credit, right?? But they somehow recommend a lot of social science classes for me.

Sorry is the question is silly, I'm really new to this.
Thanks in advance :)

it may help your peace of mind but i am wondering the same thing
did you get your first choice of college?

yeah, tmc was my first choice
but when i filled out my application, i just ranked the 6 colleges randomly without doing any research lol

hahahaha
are you there now? and do you like it?
because through my research tmc is my number 1

haha yeah, it seems tmc and muir have easier GEs
and i think i figured out the elective units thing.
Since they require at least 180 units to graduate, which is about 45 quarter classes, but if you add all your GE courses and classes for your major, it’s like only 30 classes. So i guess the rest are the elective classes??
