<p>On the new student gateway, i was recommended to take a visual arts ge. it listed: </p>

VIS 40, Introduction to Computing in the Arts
VIS 84, History of Film</p>

<p>anyone have any opinions/suggestions on these? tyy</p>

<p>They are also offering MUS 15 Popular Music: Heavy Metal if that means anything to you. I’m taking the hip hop class next quarter and I took the Beatles class last year and it was really fantastic and super easy so I’m hoping hip hop will be the same.</p>

<p>My orientation leader recommended History of Film to us a lot. She said it was really easy and fun, something about the schedule consisting mainly of watching movies and then writing up about them. I don’t remember well since it was way back in June, but it’s definitely a fun class to take apparently!</p>
