To ACT or not to ACT

So, basically I'm trying to decide if I should take the ACT again, SAT, or not take either again. Here are some details

I'm a rising senior with an ACT score of 30 (32 super scores), but I have taken it 3 times (once with writing, soph year, got a 28 w/ 8 on writing). I also have taken the SAT and got a 2000.

Should I take the ACT for a forth time? Or just send the 30 to colleges? Or should I focus my efforts on the SAT, and then take subject tests (which I would prefer not to do)?

It depends on the colleges you intend to apply to. Most colleges don’t require subject tests. Most colleges don’t superscore ACT. Do the schools your considering require the ACT with writing? Check the requirements at each school.

Yes. Generally, the colleges I’m applying to require the ACT plus writing OR the sat plus 2 subject tests

If i were u, i would take ACT… Because ur score in ACT is more than SAT… So u can improve it easier

But if a college sees that I’ve taken the ACT 4 times would it look bad?

More importantly, is it better to have taken it 3 times with a 30 as the top score or 4 times with, say a 32 as the top score?

Bumpp
any advice guys?

There is no way to know. Some schools will penalize you and others will not. You could call the college to ask.

You can delete old ACT scores.

Some colleges allow you to designate which ACT scores they receive while others require you to submit your complete testing record. You should contact each individual college to find out their requirements.
