<p>I just wanted to say thank you to all of the CC parents on this forum...You guys have taught me a great deal of how the admissions process is and what to except out of it. All the parents here give great advice and are really supportive to the applicants. Because of all of you it felt as though I had someone older than me help me go through the process. Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to post here on the prep school forum...</p>

<p>I agree, I often lurk on the parents forum. You provide intelligent information on the process and an insight into the parents perspective (although my parents are no where near as involved). So thank you very much for your presence on the forum.</p>
<p>Completely agree. I lurk on the parents forum quite often, and the parents here have been insightful and supportive to other parents and us applicants. Thanks so much, (off the top of my head) Neatoburrito, Benley, Lvillegrad, nylecoj007, ThacherParent, CateParent, toombs61, FayMom, Periwinkle, lemonade1, hj0519, zuzu’spetals, Winterset, Mainer95, emdee etc and many many other parents who have contributed to this board.</p>

<p>Just remember to pay if forward once you’re settled into your BS life by posting when you can and helping out the 2011/2012 applicants. They’ll need and value the benefit of your experiences. </p>

<p>Guess what? We learn just as much from all of you! You’ve given us a poignant view of what our kids went through, even if they might not have communicated it to us at the time. As I have said it before, any school would be lucky to have you.</p>

<p>Once we get past our internecine rivalries, we can probably all admit these are all great schools.<br>
Why?<br>
[Because they attract talented, caring motivated teens.
In short, they are great because of you!
You make the schools, the schools do not make you.
We care about you. We have been where you are or our own teens have been.<br>
It is a truly great adventure.<br>
There will be moments of joy and depression.
But you will all find a successful path.
Do it. Love it.
Never give up on yourself.</p>
<p>You are all great kids. Unfortunately my crystal was broken, but remember there’s historical evidence that the acceptance rate among CC’ers is higher than that for the general public… Good luck to everyone！</p>
<p>Indeed, I find CCers to be extremely brilliant candidates…Just look at last year’s acceptance stats - almost everyone got into 1+ schools that they applied to.</p>
