I still didn't hear from Williams, as well as Bates...

April 2 and I haven't as yet received my email. I REALLY hope they email and don't mail it, because I've received letters a month after they were postmarked and as an international, it's crucial that I make the right choice.

Anyone got their emails?

And this goes for Swarthmore College too... I'm still waiting =/

dahliandpearls, maybe you should check your spam folder lol! its not unknown for decision e-mails to land there :P
And as far as I know, the decisions are sent through express mail or couriers and not ordinary mail so it shouldnt take that long....

I have nothing in my spam folder... We can always call admissions offeice still.. but only after the 3rd...

Just got my email from Swarthmore...rejected. Is that an automatic Williams College rejection too? Man...international candidates have it tough :(

STILL WAITING!! i guess i'll just have to find out by phone tomorrow shudder i'm not expecting much though..

I'm from Ontario, Canada and I just got my letter today - waitlisted. It's good considering I got rejected from Amherst. How many do you think will be admitted from the waitlist this year?

My email got redirected to my junk folder. Be sure to check yours (I use gmail.)

I am curious about the waitlist (which I am on) as well.

Still no email or mail...I think I will be giving them a call by today or tomorrow. Anyone else receive their decision by email on April 3?

I got an email around the same time the Ivy's released their decisions. I am still waiting for the acceptance package though.

I haven't gotten the email yet =(((((

No dahli, i got rejected from macalester but accepted at both amherst and williams lol.. cornell too... its just our huge aid apps... dont worry... there's hope! :)

Damn.. I got waitlisted at williams... and at cornell too...

2 those who did not get the email: email to the admissions office - i got reply like in less than 5 minutes.

btw, there are about 300-500 waitlisted applicants

Great! That means you'll have to turn down any one of them. I am waitlisted at both(:))

I'm from India and am currently a freshman. I was accepted via email on Dec 14..but I applied ED so I have no idea abt the RD. But don't freak out! The admissions office is going crazy and they may be a little late with your letter. Calling them would help.. And they send the finaid decision via email too.

jajajaja ladylazarus12, I'm in India right now. I still haven't gotten my email, so I can already see my impending doom hovering over the telephone.

300-500 waitlist?

That's...a lot.

Guys, just write an email to the admissions office and tell them that you had not gotten you decision.

300-500 is not all that much compared to Cornell's 2500 (only 1400 stayed) waitlist.

"In the past nine years, we have admitted 0, 48, 7, 2, 41, 40, 51, 21 and 71 students respectively from the waiting list, which each year has numbered between 350 and 600 candidates." - a quote from my decision letter.

If you didn't get an email by the 29th, then you probably didn't get in. Denial emails are usually sent late.

i still haven't gotten my email yet o_O guess i have to call them today
