what were your sat ii scores and/or ap scores? pleeeeaaasssseee!!!

hahaa calm down yo.

i dont think ucla cares about ap scores

my high sat 2s werent in the sciences

but, if you must know..
sat 2 us hist.- 720
math 2- 770
bio- 630

ap bio- 3
ap physics b- 2

why does it even matter?

Yeah, it's not like UCLA has an elevated School of Pre-Medicine which has its own admissions standards. All pre-med freshman applicants are subject to the same admissions standards as the rest of the College of Letters and Sciences. However, the successful pre-meds who make it through to senior year without being weeded out tend to have higher entering stats than the average pre-med anyways.

yeah sorry, i dont know what i was thinking. i was in a uc rutt when i posted this, seeing as how i still have yet to start my uc essays and i have nothing to write about. i just wanted to know if im up to par with everyone else going into the same field as me. i realize now that it does not matter at all.

Oh wow, you're barely starting them essays?

High scores will just about get you into any UC, but for the more competitive ones like UCLA, the essays are more important than at other UCs. Due to the holistic admissions approach UCLA is adopting this year, your ECs and personal statement will matter even more, as they can be the turning point for the 2 readers who are going to go over your applications.

you're starting your essays NOW??!!!!?!?! Wow, aren't they due at the end of nov (i.e. in like 4 days)???

i remember procrastinating too...

kids i wrote my essays the day they were due. More specifically, the evening they were due.

im not advocating that plan for others.

but you know.

just saying.
