To all who are "chancing" replying to this... important info

Just to let you all know, BU’s Class of 2011 had the following GPAs in high school:

24% had h.s. GPA of 3.75 and higher
26% had h.s. GPA between 3.5 and 3.74
19% had h.s. GPA between 3.25 and 3.49
22% had h.s. GPA between 3.0 and 3.24
9% had h.s. GPA between 2.5 and 2.99

Middle 50% recieved test scores as follows:
ACT: 25 - 30

SAT: Reading 580-680
Math 590-690
Writing 590-670

Also…
59% of the applicants were accepted

This is also from a non-biased site, [College Search - SAT Registration - College Admissions - Scholarships](http://www.collegeboard.com).

So to all of you who have 3.5 or higher, you will most likely get in according strictly to statistics. And I know, CGS interferes with some of this, but this message is for those of you who are panicking with 3.8 GPAs and what not. A little above one in three BU freshman right now had below a 3.25 in High School…relax.

CGS conflicts with these statistics dramatically.. I mean 20% of each incoming class is CGS. but yeah this is definitely something worth pointing out to current or future applicants.

Okay, well if 20% of the incoming class is CGS (and if we assume that they fit the lower half of the GPA distribution), there are still 27% of the non-CGS Class of 2011 students that had a HS GPA of below a 3.5.
