To all you 32+ people...

If you're one of those people who have a 32 but want a 34, this is meant for you.

32=33=34=99th percentile.

99th percentile=top 1% of all test takers

Being in the top 1% of all test takers=something to be proud of
=good enough for the top colleges

Test scores aren't everything. A 32 is more than enough to get you in the ballpark. It's the rest of your app that will make or break you.

Basically, a 32 IS good enough. G'day.

thank you for this vital piece of information

I think getting 4 36's would be much better than four 32's.

The point of this thread is.....?

Darn, only a 31! I guess I'm like a 98th percentile or something....lemme go cry in my corner now....

The point is for all those people whining about whether a 32 is 'good enough' to have a look

So a 33 makes me competitive for every school in the country? (including HYPS?)

@Madboy121
Its in the ballpark; rest depends on rest of application.

Exactly. It puts you right in there, and it's the rest of the app that gets you in.

Score. That's good to know.

Well i got a 32.....

I am still retaking it because one of my subjects is very low.

Besides 34 sounds way better than 32 :]

I retook and got a 34 but I feel like it was justified even though it makes no difference percentile-wise. I got a 32 without studying (because I had track championships) so I felt like I cheated myself out of a fair chance.

If you wanna do it for personal satisfaction, I get it. But I just wanted to say that a 32 WILL make do.

i got a 32 in june but havn't gotten my score from oct. i think it will all come down to the science section bcuz i'm not sure how my score will turn out on it
