to become a lawyer

i want to know what major i should take as an undergraduate to eventually become a lawyer.
i was thinking of taking political science as an undergraudate
and then go to law school for graduate.

anyother majors i should consider as a undergrad?

You can major in anything and apply to law school. In fact, they encourage people to major in a lot diverse things, rather than just settling on what seems like the most related to law. They get A LOT of political science majors applying to law school. Doesn’t mean that’s the best major, though. In fact, a biology major would probably stand out more. The important thing is to practice writing logical arguments, and you can do that just as well studying Chemistry or Math as you can studying Political Science.

The important thing is just to get good grades in what you do major in, and to do well on the LSAT. Other than that, what you major in doesn’t really matter.

Get a high GPA and do well on the LSAT. Doesn’t even really matter where you go.

but majoring in art would be kinda stupid rght?
b/c thast what i got admitted to, cause i really liked it before my senior year…but i took a debate course in senior year and fell in love with it.

I’ll be honest, an art major is a lot more limiting than a science major. Ultimately do what makes you happy. It would be wise to have some sort of back-up plan if law school doesn’t work out though.
