Yeppers. That's me! I'm a silver queen! In fact every christmas my friends and I have a lotr sleepover and watch all three straight in a row! :D

The extended versions, I assume. :p

new zealand is so beautiful...

Of course! In fact it's the one thing I ask for every year for christmas...I don't even know what I want now! :p

hey... come on, you don't watch lotr unless it's extended edition... and on the scenes with multi angle, gotta go back and watch each one... AND THEN... you watch director commentary... followed by intense reading of the collectors edition box. I think i did that correctly, right celebrian?

Hehe. You nailed it lol. In fact, LOTR is one of the few things I actually read for pleasure. I mean, I like reading other things for pleasure, but LOTR is the only one I actually squeeze into my schedule. I've read each book 5 times and I'm working on the 6th! :p

applauds Celebrian's coolness

I prefer The Hobbit, which I've read so many times I've lost count, but I love LOR too. I have the original edition with a picture of Tolkien on the back covers and his watercolors on the front covers. They're my prize possessions lol.

Yeah I was filling out an application and it asked what's your most prized possesion...i'm sure you can figure out the answer! I don't like the hobbit as much, perhaps because I read LOTR before the Hobbit? :p

I've tried reading Two Towers before the second movie came out, but even the suspense of finding out whether Gandalf pops back can't keep me going beyond 20 pages. I guess I'm one of those lazy LOTR movie fans, with amazing patience of waiting for the next movie without a clue what will happen, lol. So I could truly judge the movies by its own merit and actually be surprised.

I actually saw the first one before I read the book. That's what got me interested the movies, so I too waited for the surprise. I decided to read the books immediately after each movie, because I didn't want the book to spoil it, and I didn't want to be one of those hostile fans who freaks out over changes, even though I now love the book more than the movie :p

i felt so depressed when i finished reading the triology... just sitting there gaping and thinking...that IT?!?! it cant end nowww...

I cried at the end of Return of the King...it was sad to me that something I had invested myself in since 8th grade was finally over...it was like I was Sam and being left behind, but not wanting to be left there. :p

Whenever I see a LOTR movie, its always in the middle or near the end, so I never know whats happening.
