To choose an LLC or not to choose?

I have heard it is mandatory to choose an LLC if you attend NEU's Honor's College. However, I do not attend NEU's Honor's College and I am filling out the New Student Residence Application. I was just wondering if anyone thinks it is better to choose to live in an LLC or not. Like what are the perks of doing so? Thanks! Also, if it helps, I'm planning on doing something in the sciences- most likely Pre-dental! And I looked at all the lifestyle LLC's and the only one that really appeals to me is the leadership one. Thanks!

They are required for all freshmen now, not just those in honors.

To choose - like canuck said they’re required now.

Some good LLC choices that you might be interested for your major: leadership, community service, bouve or pre-med

You could also choose something else that interests you. LLCs can be beneficial because it allows you to interact with and to get to know people with similar interests or people in the same boat as you (especially helpful the night before a major test).

are you sure? on my application it says that it is optional!

also does anyone have any opinion on the pre-med llc? i want to be academically focused, but i still don’t want to have zero fun in college.

It says that on my application too, but they are mandatory for all freshman this year. Unless you send in a request to commute that is approved. If you don’t choose, I think they just put you in a random llc.

I’m sure you will still have fun in college even if you select the pre-med llc. I mean c’mon, it’s Northeastern! :stuck_out_tongue: It will probably be easier for you being around people who understand your workload and goals.

Good luck with whatever you decide! Just to let you know, the deadline to submit is midnight.
