<p>Would a school likely value say a 3.7-3.8 GPA completed in a -/+ system (or any good GPA) more than if it were not done in that style?</p>

<p>i hate the -/+ system.... it usually lower your GPA... Thank God my CC isn't but it will be when I transfer out... Usually "univerisites" use -/+ system...</p>
<p>An A- at de anza is a 3.7, and I've already been smacked with two of those :/</p>
<p>My community college does A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D-, and F. If you receive a W, it does not count against your GPA, which I think is somewhat unusual?</p>

No, it's normal. That's what a W is for.</p>
<p>Apparently at some colleges they actually do count it against you. I've run into this on other boards. Maybe you need a certain number of them?</p>
