<p>I will be attending UMD next year and I would just like to know:</p>

<p>I’d write more, but I’ve been doing work all day and my brain hurts. :)</p>
<p>One quick note – the student involvement opportunities on campus are awesome. There are clubs for anything you can think of, and there are so many things to do (from free movies to speaker lectures on campus to trips to DC, etc). </p>
<p>If you want to check out some of the student organizations, go to: stars.umd.edu. There’s a list there of student organizations and their contact information. We have everything from acapella groups to a Quidditch team to hiking clubs (such as the Terrapin Trail Club – a big organization on campus that always has a ton of trips) to AFROTC to political groups, and so much more!</p>
<p>Haha I think the teachers, food, and girls are typical of most universities (some good, some bad)!</p>
