To do an accelerated BS/MS in Engineering or not?

I've been looking at Drexel as my top choice school and have been looking at their accelerated BS/MS program for engineering. It certainly seems interesting. I'm wondering though, is there any drawback in going straight from a BS into an MS in a matter of a year? It's a 5 year program with at least two co-ops and an optional third. Would it possibly be better to get an undergrad degree from Drexel and work my butt off, get a high GPA and then go onto a more prestigious graduate school or am I under an illusion that graduating from an Ivy or other top school will guarantee me a better job with a better salary? I'd love to hear some input here.
