<p>Should I double space my essay?</p>
<p>Also, what info should I include at the top of each page or at the top of the first page??</p>

<p>name, dob, secondary school name (I included that even though the computer automatically puts some of that information if you send it online).</p>
<p>There is no rule. I personally don’t like double spacing. I believe you are asked to double space essays in school so teachers can make notes, correct? We aren’t marking up your essays.</p>
<p>I’m sure there are admission officers out there who like double spacing, so don’t spend much time worrying about this.</p>
<p>I 1.5 spaced mine. Double spacing seemed a bit excessive since the adcoms won’t be making notes, but I find single spacing harder to read…</p>
<p>I didn’t put name, etc… waste of space. If you look at the common app preview, its all together, they know who it is, and the name is listed automatically…</p>
