<p>Please describe which of your activites has been most meaningful and why... For this short answer on the common app, it doesn't say if we could attach extra sheets or if we have to use the space given, did anyone attach extra sheets, or did most of you just wrote it in the space given? </p>

<p>I just wrote in the space given. I think that most colleges like it when you stick to the allotted space, but I'd do whatever you feel most comfortable with. Hope it helps. Good luck. ^.^</p>
<p>i attached a short essay (maybe 450 words or so) because i wanted to include a little about all my ecs and then explain whcih was most meaningful in context.</p>
<p>I attached a short essay but limited to one EC. It was probably about 350 words, but I tried to make it almost look like it could've fit in the space.</p>
<p>I used the online commonap last year when I applied, and I added extra stuff at the end. Not an extra essay, I just elaborated on things relating to my ECs that the common ap didn't give space for. I don't think they mind the extra, as long as it's relevant. And they definitely don't count the words in your main essay, I know a lot of people who got in and exceeded the limit by a few hundred words.</p>
<p>Never mind that wasn't what you asked. :) But I think it's the same kind of thing--you can make the short answer longer if you need to.</p>
