I have heard that percentage wise it may be better to apply ED to Pitzer. It is where I really want to go, but I do want to have options. Any thoughts?

Here are the 2007 stats:

Early Decision
Number of applicants: 94
Number offered admission: 51
Number denied: 7
Number deferred to Regular Action pool: 36
Number admitted from those deferred: 11

Total Picture
Applications: 3,748
Admits: 983 (26% admit rate)
Total first-year students: 243
Females: 59%
Males: 41%

by ED you mean EA, right?

Nope, I meant ED. Pitzer doesn't do EA any more.
And thanks for the info CyberProf.

my suggestion: dont do ED unless you are 100% sure. Even if your 99% sure right now, its best to do regular admission because of the options. plus, you never know about the other colleges you get into and whether you would like it better there.

If you have done your research (and your interview) and decided Pitzer is exactly what you are looking for, then go for it. With the odds CyberProf gave you, the numbers are better.
