General Comments:

Please, everyone, cheer up. You are in distinguished company.

If you are now worried that you will not be among the 10% to be admitted out of the deferred pool, please do not fret. The purpose of deferral is, as Mr. Shawn Abbott so expressly pertained, to consider the applicant's 7th semester grades. Unfortunately, I must concede that this feat will be rather difficult, by virtue of the fact that it is impossible, for me to improve upon my 4.00 UW GPA.

Please do not attempt to interpret this information in a manner other than that of elation.

I don't really know what you're trying to say, but nobody is going to take somebody named "ihatestanford" on the Stanford board seriously.

And if I'm missing the sarcasm/satire, I apologize. But are YOU the distinguished company you speak of? Sounds kind of conceited to me...

Its pretty evident why Stanford deffered you. It seems you think you're ENTITLED to attend Stanford.

No I rather doubt that anybody will look upon this with elation. Practically speaking, such notable stats (and credible as well) as yours will only hurt a deferree's chances.

i think its kinda obvious why u were deferred...and i could care less if you hate my grammar

Geez, I know some seriously sub-mediocre people who got in this year.

While Lolita is certainly well written, it's not the kind of style I would use on a college essay. If you wrote about the same subject as Lolita, then that would certainly be the reason for deferral. =P
