To get into Upen

Hi everyone! I am currently a sophomore in Whitefish Bay High SChool and I have few questions.
I really want to get into Upen because of their business program. I am really passionate about business and I have been ever since I was younger. Could you advice me on couple things to get in?

I haven't taken any ap courses yet because my school only offers them to juniors and seniors. But I am in accelerated pre calculous right now and I m going to take calc BC next year. I have a 4.0 for the moment.

I am passionate about community service too (I am key club president) and I do alot of special occasion service with my group as well as an ongoing community service for st. francis children's center. I am in forensics and student council as well. My parents told me to keep a journal of all the community service things I do. Should I do more than just journaling? Do I need forms signed by the volunteer coordinators saying I worked all those hours? And since I am pasisonate about business, should I get involved in business programs right now?

Also, what did you guys do to get into Upen? What else should I do outside of school?
Oh and I have a 800 in Korean subject test at the moment. Sorry to make this hard for you guys because I don't have much important information. But if you guys could give me a few advice that would be great.

Also, I need to bump my sat and act grades up. They are not bad but I don't think they are enough to get into upen. Could you give me some advice?

in another words, what can I do starting now to prepare?

Oh I forgot to add that I am one of my school's new paper editer (feature section).

not to be harsh but its UPenn not UPen.... if you were to write that in an essay they may deny you just for that lol

Oh sorry!!!!

really, you're only a sophomore! relax! Enjoy high school, and make the most of it.

But, since you asked for advice: here's my two cents.

do well in school academically, and it looks like you're doing exactly that.
Continue with your ec's and take leadership positions in them. Show initiative with the ecs you join. Perhaps, organize something etc. If you are interested in business, perhaps join a few of those clubs like fbla etc. Contact other people in your area who are also interested in business, and see what they are doing. But please, don't do these activities for the sake of getting to college. That's the worst thing you could do to yourself. Colleges can see that facade, and it'll hurt you tremendously. Actually do the things you enjoy.
Regarding test scores etc, as long as you are keeping up in school, your scores will be fine. I really didn't do any studying, but the critical learning I learned in my honors/AP classes were enough for me to get a pretty good score. Don't sweat too much over this.

Hope this helped.
Good Luck!

thank you so much!

you're on the right track. keep doing what you're doing, invest time in a passion, get leadership positions, and just enjoy life.
and you should probably aim for a 2100/32 on the SAT/ACT.

okay thank you for your advice!
