To GT and non-GT students

<p>I’ve received a few PMs regarding transfer of credits, GPA and how this affects grad school admissions. Here is what you need to know:</p>

<li><p>Your GPA does NOT transfer</p></li>
<li><p>Your credits WILL transfer as long as Cornell offers an equivalent course…9 times out of 10…they do. If you have more than 60 credits, your college registrar will select those credits that help fulfill major and college distribution requirements. </p></li>
<li><p>Your Cornell GPA and GPA from previous college will be looked at by grad school admission committees. You are required to submit a transcript for every college attended so they’ll see all your grades and compute their own average GPA. For pre-med students: look into the American Medical College Application Service to learn how they calculate your GPA.</p></li>
