<p>You can’t not guess. To see the next question, you have to click on an answer to the question that you are on. The only way a question can be left blank is if you run out of time and can’t finish it (and all the rest of them) or if you quit the test section…</p>
<p>However, once you get toward the end and are running out of time, you can “guess”, by just filling in random answers. That works FOR you if there is no penalty for guessing. It works AGAINST you if there is a penalty for a wrong answer.</p>
<p>Every test prep book out there tells you to guess on the CAT. Apparently there’s a penalty for leaving questions unanswered which is worse than the penalty for an incorrect answer.</p>
