to haas or not to haas?

damn, now I gotta decide haas or math/stats by march 2nd.

congrats to everyone who got in! i find it a little creepy they want our photo o.O

@demoz: if you don’t choose haas, when are you planning to apply/declare your major as a stats or math major?

i think you should pick haas so we can all chill out in fifo cafe one day lol

yea, I though the photo thing was sort of weird lol.

I would actually have to declare summer or next sem… pretty late, but I’m sort of enjoying my math classes atm.

then again, all this haas excitement is getting me pretty hyped so I’m sort of conflicted.

what math classes are you taking atm?

math 1b and 53, I think u said u were in my 53 class, right? or was that someone else?

i got denied

@ankur1521 You must be a stupid **** to be denied

@ankur1521 You must be a stupid **** to be denied

yeah i am, u mad?

no it just posted twice for some reason. what major are you doing now?

dropping out of berkeley major

@fernandotorres99: Says the guy that’s trying to add an easy class on the 4th week on school.

@Ankur1521: You probably feel bad right now, but the difference in prospects of finding a good job between Haas and Economics (I assume you’re doing Econ) isn’t as large as you might think. I was in your shoes 2 years ago.

you are gonna drop out?haha
wait literally you are doing econ rite?

i’m going to do econ

liquidus, i know job opportunities are nearly the same, but i just don’t like economics. It’s so different from UGBA 10, UGBA 10 was cool but econ 1 is just boring. Does econ get better?

I think the photo is for a students directory.

Congrats everyone! Maybe I’ll end up as one of your mentors, haha who knows.

HelloAll is correct. During orientation they give everyone a ‘yearbook’ of sorts with everyones’ profile. It’s pretty useful because you meet so many people during orientation and you tend to forget names.

Plus, it’s useful if you want to find out the name of that cute girl you saw in intro to accounting. ;)

Congrats everyone :)

The material in Econ 100A and 100B are similar to Econ 1 but there are a variety of elective classes. You should still be able to take the UGBA classes that interest you. What exactly did you like about UGBA10?

Isn’t Haas just really easy math classes plus some basic econ concepts and complete bs that’s supposed to teach you how to “communicate with people”?

What kind of goodies can we expect to receive (aside from the backpack).
