Yep. We are quickly headed to needing a universal basic income (which would be an interesting thread), I’m not sure anything else can help solve the monumental changes that are coming.
AI will impact things in ways we don’t even understand right now, but I agree in injparent lots of jobs will be eliminated relatively soon, and not just low paying jobs…lots of highly paid coders/SWE are going to be out of work sooner rather than later.
