So, here's the deal. I was invited to schedule a Skype interview with one college. Since I'm an international student, the time difference between my location and Eastern U.S. is 13 hours. We agreed to schedule an interview for Wednesday, 8 a.m. my time. So I asked my GC for a day off, and she was happy to provide me with such an opportunity. Today I received an email from another college, suggesting to schedule a Skype interview, too. The interviewer suggested to have an interview on Wednesday, 10 a.m. my time. Well, I don't want to ask for another day off, but I'm a kind of concerned if it is a good idea to have two interviews with two different schools with only two hours between them. What do you think?

Interviews usually don’t take as long as 2 hours. I think you’ll have enough time for the two interviews, provided * ceteris paribus *.

Sound like a good idea since you have the day off anyway. Why don’t you try to push the 10am interview to 11am, it’s okay to say you have an earlier one and don’t want to worry about time. I actually think the 2nd one will be easier since you have just done one. As long as you have a little time alone to regroup, think about the 2nd college and any questions you want to ask them.

I’ve never ever heard of a college interview going longer than 90 minutes. The vast majority are around 30 minutes.

Well, thank you all for your responses. I think I’ll just go for it. I had my first interview with one college today, and it lasted just a little more than an hour, so I guess two hours between my Wednesday interviews would be OK.
