Hey guys, I got accepted in december after applying for the early admission deadline and I was still undecided until now if I wanted to go here. I was wondering if it is to late to get a decent dorm or should I look for off-campus housing? I am completing all my forms today and I don't really know what dorms I should have on my top 4 list as I feel I won't get any of my choices... Please recommend what I should do thanks :)

If you’re applying now, then the odds are that you will be left with somewhere like Salley or the community style halls. I’ve seen people report housing numbers above 5000 already.

If you’re accepted to FSU’s honors program, you have a very outside chance at Landis or Gilchrist, but otherwise you’re generally going to be looking at the community style storms.

Thanks for the quick reply mate! How bad are the community style halls? What do you think I should do?

You also might want to look into the living learning communities and see if you would like to apply to one of those.

That’s true, the LLCs are another option. Only thing to keep in mind there is that you have to live in the same dorm that the LLCs are housed in. That isn’t really a problem usually since they’re typically housed in the “wanted” dorms like Wildwood or DeGraff.

Alright my priority number is 5030 I really hope I get a suite-style room!

Yes thanks for the info guys, I think I’ll apply Pre-health LLC for reynolds hall as my that is focused around my major.
