ok, so here is the issue, I graduate high school, in 2010 and from there I was accepted and entered Howard University. I did not receive any scholarships and i only had my Pell and what little loan money i was offered to make ends meet. Needless to say I flunked that semester and withdrew from HU ( I could not afford to stay or buy text books etc) . Now I am at a local CC, and I am getting to the point where i want to transfer, my question is should I go back and try to improve my GPA at HU or should i move on and take it as a loss? It has already affected my goals as far as careers and one of the major schools that i wanted to transfer to has been bumped off the list because sending my HU transcripts over would show that i have below a 2.0 at a previously attended school ( my current GPA is a 3.5 btw) so, what should i do? i am just seeking advice, before i speak with the advisers from my potential transfer schools. I dont want to apply and to just be shot down if i can avoid it.
