To Pass the Time

Biology
I had fun with the experiments.
Dude
I just cant believe that we got a hold of these books from our school in a book preview program.
have you read rainbow high?

No I haven't.

What's your favorite cartoon/action figure ?

Doug was really good. I loved old Nickelodeon.

Favorite movie?

Hard! Maybe "The Shawshank Redemption".

Fav. song?

Woah, that my 300th post!

mayonaise- smashing pumpkins

favorite thing to do to your hair?

Shawshank Redemption is an amazing movie.

I like keeping it short. I used to have dreadlocks for two years, then I took those out and had long hair for a year, but I cut it in September. It feels so nice.

What are you doing now with your time as a second semester senior?

yeah, party, ditching, party. That sums up my circle of friends.

do you have any plans tonight?

Nothing other than having the house to myself. I'm pretty lame like that, I don't mind a friday night alone, and I've never actually even been told about a party. I guess I have too much of a "good girl" reputation...

What's your reputation?

funny smart slacker

eh, well that is for the students, I think that teachers collectively as a whole hate me.

It is ok, I will stay home tonight also.

What was the last thing you read?

hi everyone!
yes i'm applying RD and waiting patiently like you all
anyway

candide and the audacity of hope (finished them around the same time)

what's your favorite movie genre?

Yeah, I'm going out to dinner with my parents... I know where you're coming from, JPan.

Drama and intelligent horror/mystery.

Fav. music genre?

"Historia de la Vida de un Busc

macaroni and cheese, from the box :) I'm a little kid.

if you could see anybody in concert, alive or dead, who would it be?

Yay, a thread for RDers!

I'd probably have to say the Beatles ; )

What political philosophy most intrigues you?

Libertarianism.

Who's your fav. political philosopher?

Although not my fav., Blaise Pascal wrote, what I think, is one of the most succinct summaries of humans and governance:
"La justice sans la force est impuissante; la force sans la justice est tyrannique." which translates to: "Justice without force/enforcement is useless; force without justice is tyrannical." Had to put my two cents in on that one!

Jesus (jk...)

Rousseau

Are you a crayon, magic marker, or colored pencil type person?

Mhm, I like Rousseau, too. I'm a magic marker person.

Sculpture or Painting?

Painting, though there is certainly sculpture I admire.

Neat or messy?

How about well-organized messy. I don't have enough space for all my stuff so sometimes, my floor becomes a repository for clothes. Despite my mother's criticisms, I know where everything, which is what counts!

Really hot or really cold (climate)?

I couldn't tell! But I've been in really hot places and definitely did not like the temperature, so I'm hoping 'really cold' is a better fit. No one likes extremes though.

Would you rather be able to fly or swim (and breathe underwater) like the best birds, or fish, respectively ?
