The craziest hand I've seen was somebody with 4-of-a-kind Aces. I was dealer for that hand, and the flop was three aces. One of the guys had the last ace. The other guy who didn't believe that he had the last ace lost quite a bit of chips on that round.

When I has gambling in a casino (under age 18 on a ship's casino :o ), I hit blackjack like 3 times in a row. Combinatorics dictate that this is extremely unlikely, but I was loving the 2 to 3 payout. The pit boss began to look at my funny and I thought he was going to ID me, so I peace out up like 60 bucks. Too bad I lost 40 of it when I went back later.

WHY wasn't I playing higher stakes!!! Stupid $0.01/$0.02 table.....ugh!

nice aigam!

wow, that is one excellent hand, Grad 06.
I like poker a lot, but I'm not that good at it. I was playing the other day with a bunch of my friends, and I folded a couple of rounds when I could have checked, just because I wasn't thinking. Both times I did it, I could hear the kid who taught me to play saying in my head, "the cardinal rule of poker is you NEVER fold when you can check." Hah,

anyway...I'm wondering, do you guys usually fold before the cards are shown when you have a 7 and a 2 off suit? I'm told I should, but I hate to fold before I even know what any of the cards are!

VeganGirl- we've been playing in math, and I did the exact same thing, checking when I should have folded. I'm vegan too. hmmmm

did that as well when i first started playing! LOL!

27os is the worst hand in poker, statistically, as it is the combination of the lowest two cards that cannot make a straight. If I'm on the big blind and it's free to see the flop, I'll see the flop. Otherwise, I'll fold.

The cardinal rule of poker is to always leave yourself outs. Any good Rounders fan should know that...
