I'm a rising senior and I really need advice on whether I should retake my ACT or not. My SAT was 2100 while ACT was a 29(T_T), both without any prep. I am starting prep for SAT as well as SATIIs but don't know whether if I should divert my attention for some ACT prep. Should I retake both or just SAT, and if I should retake both- ACT w/ writing or w/o?

Thanks in advance!

Don't have much time left!

I’d go for what you think you can improve on the most in. I’d personally say go with the ACT because you only need to improve your composite by a little. (a 31 or higher is good)

depends on your individual scores…were you consistently at 29, or did you score some 30’s and a <25 on science?

Depends on which colleges you aspire to. A 2100 SAT is good for any college below the top ~20, but if you are dreaming of Ivy and are unhooked, your goal should be 2200/33+.

I didn’t do any practice so I don’t know if I’m scoring consistently at 29 or not but for my first test I wasn’t very focused. However, my science score was 32 and all other sections were about the same.
