To retake or not to retake... That is the question.

Math 2:800 (Obviously, not retaking)
USH: 700

Should I retake USH? I want to go to Yale and a 700 isn't that impressive. I want to major in Psych, so it's not that relevant to my major. I didn't really study at all (except for the bit of studying I did of APUSH)... However, I do think that studying for something like Chem or Bio would be a better use of my time, more interesting, and more pertinent as I am going to be pre-med.

Also, I'm taking French next fall for schools that require 3 subject tests, so I would be taking it along w/ it.

So please vote and tell me which option I should take any why:

OPTION 1: Take only French. You're stupid. Your scores are fine. Move on with your life.

OPTION 2: Retake USH along with French. You didn't study much and you could probably do a lot better. You know how it works, so study and do better! You want to be as competitive as possible for Ivies!

OPTION 3: Take Chem./Bio. along with French. Screw history! You like science much more! That'll make it easier to study and easier to score higher! And good scores mean better chances!

OPTION 4: Just take Chem./Bio. It's easier to study for than French, as you're good with grammar, but learning all that vocab could take ages! Your scores are fine. No need to retake USH.

Hi,
I’m bumping this thread since I’m in a similar situation. I got a 800 on math 2 and a 740 on USH. I was wondering if I should study some more and retake history since I feel that then I might be able to break 750 or even 770.

So any advice from experienced CCers for both me and my88keys?

Bumping this…
