I found out what I got on the SAT and I was somewhat pleased with a 1910. I am thinking about retaking it but some people say to stay with it because I also took the ACT and I have a feeling I did better on it. I think however that I should retake the SAT to see if I can bump it up to the 2000-zone. Would it look better if I retake the SAT, even if I get a high ACT score? Some people are saying that I shouldn't if I get a good ACT but I think that I should. What's your opinion? Thanks! :)

Was it your first SAT? Then it is generally customary to retake SAT up to three times in case of a score rise. If you think you can study hard enough to get a better score, you should.

I agree with tomahawk89. If you think you can push your SAT score up the third time, I would suggest you retake it. Besides, most people usually study the hardest the third time because it's the last time ;) And I doubt it would look bad if you get a good ACT score and retake your SAT. USC doesn't seem to be a very picky school.

Yeah this was my first SAT. I wasn't TOO disappointed because the PSAT predicted a 1770. I'm pretty sure that if I study I could push it up to the 2000s. Thanks for the imput :)
