What do you think, should I send my lecture recorded on VCD?
Why?

It is quite good, I speak fluently, and admission committee could see myself in motion. But such a view - for a person that talks all the time, and do not laugh much could be a hindrance…

What do you think?

I can upload it somewhere to internet and PM adress, but it is 96 Mbytes in DivX, and I have only 256kbps server…

Who do you expect will watch it? They have tons of stuff to wade through and I would doubt they have time to watch a long lecture. If they wanted things like that they would ask for it, right? Does Harvard ask for tapes or something or is that just if you're applying for music?

It is not a long lecture. I am sending it instead of written work. I think that they might be watching such things. They might be curious as any other human. The matter is, could it be a hindrance, or not.

i don't think it'll hurt you at all. all they say in the application is that videos will be reviewed by the board of admissions if they have time. that's a big if, but you might as well send it in and see if they consider it.
