<p>My ACT is a 31 so I'm sending that to all of my schools. However, my SAT is:</p>

<p>SAT:

MathIIC:640</p>
<p>If I'm applying to engineering schools at Duke, UVA, Vanderbilt, as a URM(Black), should I send the SATs?</p>
<p>I'm worried that my low Math IIC score and CR+W will hurt me. Any help?</p>
<p>i think you need to take the SAT IIs anyway even if you decide to take the ACT instead of the SAT I</p>
<p>You have to send your SAT II's, and unfortunately, with the SAT II's will follow your SAT I</p>
<p>I don't think schools require SAT II's if you send ACT only....</p>
<p>UVA does not require SAT IIs, and does not mention them. </p>
<p>Duke requires SAT IIs if you don't submit the ACT with writing; for Engineering, they require a Math SAT II unless you send only the ACT with writing. </p>
<p>Vanderbilt does not require SAT IIs; they are optional. If submitted they will be considered.</p>
