To send or not to send the scores - ASAP!

To send or not to send the scores - need the answer ASAP!
As we expected: just re-taking the subject test without extensive preparation does not really improve your score. But what to do if there is a minimal improvement?
SO DD took SAT Math level 2 in December and got 730, which was slightly lower than she expected. She aimed at 750+, (a science, but not a math/engineering kid applying to top schools including HYPs). She retook the test in Jan aiming at 780 (but with college apps there was no preparation). Now she got a 750. The score that would be OK for her overall. But the improvement is minimal.
Should she send it? Will it hurt?
Or maybe more specifically:
1) Should she send it to schools that require 3 SAT subjects and already have her 730?
2) Should she send it to schools specifically requesting a math subject test (also already have a 730 score)?
3) Should she send it to schools requesting only 2 subject tests? She didn't send a 730 math there, they only have a bio (770) and a ushist (750) from spring?

I would send even for slight improvement like 20 point. She spent the time and took it. I think 750+ is a decent score.

why would an increase hurt? Send it. That is a great score, especially for someone who's main focus is not math.

Thank you guys. I guess we just should send the scores and forget about SATs .

yea i have the same question. 30 pt increase worth sending when i already have 3 SAT 2 scores that are >than my newest one of 690? it was french btw. idk if it's worth bothering my parents $10 for that...

If money is a concern than that is a different question.

Tarheel, if they already have three higher scores it seems to me there's no point in sending another one unless it is great, or unless a school specifically requires it, or unless it makes some kind of a point in your overall picture (say you had straight Cs in the subject, and your score showed greater mastery than your grades would indicate). 690 is good but not great. If it is a score that would enable you to place out of a language requirement or something like that, you can send it to the school you plan to attend after you get in.

Citymom, I'd send it to all of them.
