To Send or Not To Send?

Okay, so I see on Northwestern and UVA's websites that each "recommends" and "strongly recommends" that applicants send in two SATIIs, respectively.

I have a 770 U.S. History SATII, which I'm not worried about.

However, my next best SATII is Literature which is only a 710. It's a good score, but I don't know if it will really help my application very much.

Should I go ahead and send these SATIIs, or should I just save the money? Thanks.

Those scores certainly aren’t going to hurt you, so I would send them. They are both strong scores, and a 710 in Lit isn’t bad considering it’s one of the hardest exams to score well on.

Agreed with Harambee. If they ‘strongly recommend’ two, I think it’d hurt you more to only submit one score than to submit a 710. If you get rejected (and I hope you don’t!) it will NOT be because of that.

I would send it.
