To send or not to send?

I'm applying to schools that do not require subject tests, I got a 660 on math 1 and 640 on math 2. I also have a 1300/1900 and 2.7 :(. Would sending these subj. test scores hurt or help me?

How did you perform on the math section of the SAT I exam?

720 m, 580 cr, 600 w

If you got a 720 math I dont think it is really necessary… As math 2 has a greater curve, your math 1 score will probably look better to adcoms so if you want to send a score, I would send that.

Are SAT IIs required at any college you are applying to? Where are you applying?

I’m just a fellow senior so I suggest you ask other people but that’s my advice/opinion…

None of the schools I’m applying to require them, but I’m just trying to do what I can to boost my chances. So you suggest only send the math 1 score?

I think it looks the best. It’s up to you in the end though really…

It can’t hurt though right?

Yeah I know my math 1 score is fine, I was just concerned about the math 2 score. A 640 is right below the average…so idk. What do you think

Well the curve on math 2 is much more generous than on math 1 so, in my opinion, the 640 in math 2 looks (much) worse than a 660 in math 1. At the end of the day though, I doubt your admission will depend on your performance on sat subject tests…
